EDUCATION The most important goal in our preschool classrooms is for teachers to help children become self-confident, inquisitive, and enthusiastic learners. We do this by getting to know each child and their family. By building this relationship, teachers are better able to support children’s learning. Parents and teachers work together in discovering ways to develop each child’s unique personality, their interests and skills. Children are encouraged to be active and creative as they explore and experiment within a well-planned curriculum. Our curriculum identifies goals in all areas of child development:
Serving Children with Special Needs MCCC serves children of all abilities. Children are screened for developmental milestones and together with families; teachers determine whether a child needs extra support from our program partners in the Early Childhood Special Education field. Teachers, parents and Early Childhood Special Education professionals work collaboratively to provide the best services for children with disabilities.
