EMPLOYMENT

Mid-Columbia Children’s Council, Inc. has an opening for a Vista Volunteer. The position will focus on fundraising activities, event planning, marketing, coordinating and implementing a volunteer training program and other related tasks. The position provides a monthly stipend of $820, health coverage, child care and, upon completion of the one year commitment, choice of either an Education Award of $4,725 or a $1,200 cash stipend. Minimum qualifications: At least 18 years old, high school degree or equivalent (GED) and a U.S. citizen. Desired Skills: Experience in event planning, fundraising, and/or other areas of marketing and volunteer recruitment. Experience working with low-income communities or non-profit organizations.
