KLICKITAT CENTER

Klickitat Head Start would like to welcome you to our center.  We are located on the southern border of Washington State in the Columbia River Gorge. Currently we are housed in the Klickitat Elementary School building.  Sharing this location with the school district allows us many unique opportunities to be involved in wonderful, educational school and community activities.

Our class schedule is Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  We currently serve 13 children preschool children ages 3 through 5.  Two teachers work in partnership with families to provide classroom/ home visit activities and experiences designed to meet the interests, strengths, and needs of all children.

Children receive breakfast and a snack which follows Head Start & USDA guidelines.   Parents transport their children to our center, which gives teachers and parents an opportunity to share information and ideas regularly.
