PINE GROVE CENTER

The Pine Grove center is located five miles southeast of the City of Hood River and serves families living in the Pine Grove and Odell area of Hood River County.
Pine Grove provides opportunities for preschool children 3-5 years of age and their families.  Our program offers two preschool classes that operate 3 days a week, providing the child with twelve hours of class time.  The program also encompasses a home visit component.  This element of the program allows for the parent, child and teacher to meet once a month for ninety minute for individual attention to learning and assistance with community resources as needed.

Our program offers children an educational experience focused on language and literacy, creative arts, math and science.  The staff at Pine Grove strives to create an environment that fosters community building and helps children to develop a strong sense of self, respect for others, problem-solving skills, making choices and appreciating differences.
