Join us as we use Dr. Becky Bailey’s Conscious Discipline topics to explore the Brain State model and how to literally “wire” the child’s brain for self-control.

The parent workshop “Boost Your Child’s Brain Potential” will take place in Hood River on Sept. 15 from 5-7 p.m. at River of Life Assembly, 979 Tucker Road.

Create connections with “I Love You Rituals” activities designed to strengthen adult-child relation-ships. These rituals increase attention span, decrease power struggles, and promotes language and literacy whether in school or at home. “I Love You Rituals” build positive, lifelong bonds between adults and children.

To learn more information on Dr. Bailey’s discipline approach go to www.consciousdiscipline.com.

The event is sponsored by Family Services of The Next Door and Mid Columbia’s Children’s Council-Head Start.

A light dinner will be served. Child care is available but children must be preregistered. Child care is for children 6 months to 10 years.

The workshop will be in English and Spanish. The workshop, light dinner, and child care are free.
